MISSION STATEMENT
The entire recruitment industry has turned its attention to the healthcare field and seemingly every day a startup staffing agency is formed. I have to wonder who really wins in the end - the nurse, the hospital, or the recruiting firm?
I think we all know the answer to this question. The nurse will receive less than deserved, the hospital will pay more than necessary, and these huge agencies will end up with more money than is warranted to them.
At Pearlcare we are proud to be an independently owned firm that is in it to make a difference in the healthcare industry.
Pearlcare Medical Staffing is proud of its heritage. We don't occupy a fancy office or a glass-windowed skyscraper funded by Wall Street investment firms. We don't have priceless art hanging in our hallways or gold faucets in our lavatories.

We started in a warehouse office that was 375sq/ft, one that didn't' have the greatest heat or air conditioning. On freezing winter days it was common to find Pearlcare employees walking around wearing our winter coats. On the sweltering days of summer we could be found standing by our one window, drinking cold water and praying for a cool breeze. That's just the way it was for us in the beginning. It is suffice to say that our office had no added extras. We may not have had a new office but we did have a group of hard-working people who cared about nurses and the American healthcare system. We saw the problem of too few nurses and hospitals with diminishing budgets. How does someone make a system work when there is such an imbalance between the supply and demand in this market? Pearlcare saw the problem and has reacted to the challenge.
Of course businesses must make a profit or it will cease to exist. This doesn't mean that the owners of these agencies should be making million dollar salaries annually. If there is going to be lots of money made it should be going to those most deserving, THE NURSES. And in the process, hospitals shouldn't be charged excessive rates. At Pearlcare we know one thing; that Nurses and Hospitals must stand side-by-side and work for the common good of the American healthcare system. The lives of millions depend on this system and we are doing the right thing by putting purpose in front of profit.
